Journalism Course Graduates Receive Diplomas and Awards in Chitral

Radio FM 96 Suno Pakhtunkhwa organized a certificate and awards distribution ceremony in Lower Chitral in collaboration with the National Institute of Journalism, Islamabad.

On this occasion, former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Chitral, Saif-ul-Ahmad Saifi, was the chief guest. The event was presided over by renowned broadcaster and Accounts Officer of Chitral Scouts, Asif Hussain Khattak.

During the ceremony, Suno Pakhtunkhwa’s RJs — Kaleemullah Haider, Zakaullah Khan, Saadat Hussain Makhfi, Hadiqa Makhfi, Irfanuddin, Sanaila Khan, Zahid Zain, and Ali Khan Khattak — were awarded diplomas along with prizes upon completing their journalism course.

This marks the first time in the history of Suno Pakhtunkhwa that a training program for broadcasters has been conducted.

On this occasion, the Station Manager of Suno Pakhtunkhwa FM 96 Chitral and Chairman of the National Institute of Journalism Islamabad, Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Johar Yousafzai, reaffirmed that this initiative will be expanded to other regions, and underprivileged broadcasters will be provided with six months of free journalism training.

After the ceremony, a special kids’ show was also broadcast, where children were given refreshments, gifts, and cash prizes.
